Some of the proud children of pioneer José Mateus Amaral (Homeland, 1954). José Miguel, Délia, and Norberto Medeiros came to the Gallery of the Portuguese Pioneers on the 55^th anniversary of their arrival in Canada, to come and join their father. They are originally from the village of Nordestino, municipality of Nordeste, the island of S. Miguel, Azores.
