Some of the proud children of pioneer José Mateus Amaral (Homeland, 1954). José Miguel, Délia, and Norberto Medeiros came to the Gallery of the Portuguese Pioneers on the 55th anniversary of their arrival in Canada, to come and join their father. They are originally from the village of Nordestino, municipality of Nordeste, the island of S. Miguel, Azores.
